ORDINANCE NO. 3391
AN ORDINANCE RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS
SITUATED IN THE CITY OF MCPHERSON.
WHEREAS, the Governing Body approved the Deerfield Village Final Plat, accepting all dedications therein on January 10th, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the is shown on the Deerfield Village Final Plat to the City of McPherson, a street named Deerfield Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City of McPherson requires that a street name for a cul-de-sac begin at the first intersection, running to the end of the cul-de-sac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS:
Section 1. That the portion of “Deerfield Road” beginning at the center of the intersection of Deerfield Road and Wilderness Drive running to the beginning of “Deerfield Lane” platted as a part of Replat Barnstormers West Field Addition to the City of McPherson is hereby renamed and designated “Deerfield Lane.”
Section 2. After this ordinance becomes effective, the City Clerk shall file an affidavit of publication of this ordinance with the McPherson County Register of Deeds, and shall mail a copy of the affidavit of publication to the McPherson County Appraiser’s office.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage, signature and publication of the full text of the ordinance on the City’s website in compliance with K.S.A. 12-3007(b), with an effective date of June 1st, 2023.
