RESOLUTION MODIFYING SOLID WASTE COLLECTION FEES
PAYABLE BY THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON
WHEREAS, the City of McPherson contracts with McPherson Area Solid Waste Utility for the collection and disposal of municipal solid waste generated by the residents of the City; and
WHEREAS, the contract price charged by the MASWU has been increased, effective January 1, 2023; and
WHEREAS, MASWU plans to continue with single stream curbside recycling that was begun in May of 2014;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS:
Section 1. That effective January 1, 2023, the monthly minimum fee for residential service of solid waste collection and disposal service as set forth in Section 66-38 of the Code of the City of McPherson shall be and is raised from $18.27 per month to $18.72 per month;
