RESOLUTION NO. 22-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT AS REQUIRED BY K.S.A. 79-251 WITH RESPECT TO A PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION TO BE GRANTED TO THERMAL DESIGN PRODUCTS, LLC.
WHEREAS, Thermal Design products, LLC (the “Company”) has applied to the City of McPherson, Kansas (the “City”) for a property tax exemption pursuant to the provisions of the Article 11, Section 13 of the Kansas Constitution of the property located in the City to be used for one of the exempt purposes set forth in Article 11, Section 13 of the Kansas Constitution; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City has investigated the facts regarding the property acquired and the use to which the Company will put such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MCPHERSON, KANSAS:
Section 1. The governing body of the City has determined a factual finding that the property for which the exemption is to be granted will be used exclusively in the Company’s business of manufacturing articles of commerce as specified in Article 11, Section 13 of the Kansas Constitution.
