NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Public notice is hereby given pursuant to K.S.A. Supp 79-251(b) that the City Commission of the City of McPherson, Kansas (the “City”), will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 8:50 A.M. at the Municipal Center, 400 East. Kansas Avenue, McPherson, Kansas in regard to the application of Thermal Design Products, LLC., 1402 S. Hwy 81 Bypass, McPherson, KS for a property tax abatement proposed to be granted by the City pursuant to Article 11, Section 13 of the Kansas Constitution for expansion into an existing McPherson facility. The property to be abated will be located in the City at 1402 S. Hwy 81 Bypass, McPherson, KS. The governing body will not adopt an ordinance authorizing the granting of such exemption until said public hearing has been concluded.
A copy of this Notice, together with a copy of the application of Thermal Design Products, LLC. for the tax abatement, its supporting exhibits and the report of the City staff evaluating the application and performing the cost benefit analysis required by K.S.A. Supp. 79-251 (a)(1), are on file in the office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection during normal business hours.
All persons having an interest in this matter will be given an opportunity to be heard at the time and place above specified.
