The City of McPherson will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 9:00 AM, at McPherson City Hall, 400 E. Kansas Avenue McPherson, KS 67460 for the purpose of evaluating the performance of the $220,000.00 CDBG Grant No. 19-PF-006 which proposed the widening of South Chestnut Street from a 26’width to 32’ mill and overlay, addition of a new drainage pipe and storm inlets to correct drainage issues and sidewalks along the east side of Chestnut. Actual accomplishments consist of the widening of South Chestnut Street from a 26’width to 32’ mill and overlay, addition of a new drainage pipe and storm inlets to correct drainage issues, and sidewalks along the east side of Chestnut.
This $801,905.07 project was funded, in part, with funds from the Kansas Department of Commerce, Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. All aspects of the grant will be discussed, and oral and written comments will be recorded and become a part of the City of McPherson CDBG Citizen Participation Plan.
