The City of McPherson must document the need for housing rehabilitation by identifying potential willing participants in the area.

Eligible residents located in the target area are invited to submit a pre-application no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2022.

Pre-applications are an important part of the grant process. The more pre-applications received, the more likely the community will be awarded a CDBG. A pre-application does not commit residents to participate. Nor does it guarantee selection if the grant is received. However, it will increase the applicant's priority status if it is determined the applicant meets all eligibility requirements and the City of McPherson receives the grant.
