McPHERSON — Union Pacific Railroad has notified the City of McPherson of its intent to rebuild railroad crossings at three locations in McPherson in the month of September.
These repairs will mean complete road closures at the following locations and times. Be aware, the schedule is subject to change with minimal notice.
Maxwell Street crossing, September 3 to 5
Suggested alternate route — Use Main Street or Centennial Drive between Avenue A and Kansas Avenue.
Centennial Drive crossing, September 6 to 8
Suggested alternate route — Use 17th Avenue between First Street and Kansas Avenue (HWY 56)
South Main Street Crossing, September 19 & 20
Suggested alternate route — Use Maxwell Street between Avenue A and Iron Horse Road.
