McPHERSON — Weather permitting, an asphalt overlay process is scheduled to begin Sept. 2, 2025, in the Sycamore Subdivision in south McPherson and last for approximately six days, barring any delays.
During this time, residents in that area are asked to not park on the street between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and driveway access may be temporarily obstructed. Residents also are asked not to run irrigation system adjacent to the street until the pavement process is complete.
APAC Kansas will perform the overlay, one of the final stages of the area’s street reconstruction. Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution in the area during the process and prepare for slight delays.
