MCPHERSON — Due to the forecasted inclement weather and the potential for drifting snow during the weekend, the McPherson Cemetery will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2025.
The cemetery driveways — entryways especially — often become difficult to see during periods of blowing snow and can lead to stranded vehicles.
The closure will last at least until Monday morning when cemetery staff will re-evaluate. Visitors are still allowed, but they will not be able to drive in.
