McPherson Main Street is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the Downtown McPherson area.

The membership-based organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors whose primary focus is to raise awareness of the products and services available in our community. This is accomplished through sales promotions, community activities that generate consumer traffic and various resources to help member businesses with expansions, re-locations and marketing.

McPherson Main Street has hired a New Director

My name is Lauren Pesek and it is my honor to take on the role as the new Executive Director of McPherson Main Street.  I am currently a resident of Saline County, KS, past east coast girl, and one day future McPherson resident. I am excited to make a lasting impact on the McPherson community through downtown development and raising awareness of local products and services. My future goal as the Executive Director of McPherson Main Street is to bring a variety of ages, cultures, and diversity to experience our downtown district.  I want our downtown to be the focal point of our city. I will continue to keep our current downtown events thriving and bring in new innovative ideas. Help me make McPherson a destination city to all. Thank you to all who have already welcomed me into your town and made me feel a part of this great community. In closing I want to extend an invitation to any member of the community to share their ideas and thoughts on Main Street, my door is always open.
