Community Risk Reduction & 2020 Census
McPherson – The McPherson Fire Department will begin their Community Risk Reduction program in residential areas today. This means that the Fire Department will be going door-to-door to conduct a risk assessment survey with residents. This assessment helps residents with smoke detector installation and other fire hazards that may be in their home. This is a free service provided by the Fire Department.
While the Fire Department is out, they will be promoting the 2020 Census. Each household will be given information regarding the 2020 Census and information on how to fill it out. If residents do not have access to one of the three ways (Phone, Internet, Mail) to fill out the Census the Fire Department will have resources available.
For questions regarding the Community Risk Reduction program, please reach out to the McPherson Fire Department at (620) 245-2505.
For questions regarding the 2020 Census, please reach out to the City of McPherson at (620) 245-2535.
