Library Launches New Website

The McPherson Public Library recently launched a new website. Patrons can easily access information about the library's services and resources. The site provides a wide variety of databases, digital content, downloads and online learning services. It also includes new features such as increased visibility of library events and programs, improved communications with library staff and an option for online payments. Library Director Steve Read designed the site and noted it is one of the largest and most complex public library websites in the state. "The McPherson Public Library has a great deal of local history databases and digitized content available for the public online," he said. "This new site showcases those resources and makes them both easier to access and to use." The site has a flexible platform, which will allow for future online services and technology. Explore the new site at www.macpl.org.
