Animals Available for Adoption

imp 2999 'Bella'
Impound#2999 - 07/23/2014
Female Pointer Mix
White and Liver
My name is Bella and I am a 2-3 year old, Female, Pointer mix. I am a very affectionate girl who is just looking for some place to call home. I know that I am a hunting breed but I would not make a good hunting companion, I prefer things to be a little quieter. I am fine with other dogs and I love children. I do need some training still so I will need an owner who is willing to work a little with me. I am already spayed so that is a plus, but I do need to be updated on my rabies vaccination. I am currently at the McPherson Animal Shelter 620-245-2583.
imp 'Bolt'
Impound#3014 - 08/17/2014
Male German Shepherd mix
Brown, blk muzzle
Available for Adoption!!!
My name is Bolt and I am an 8-12 month old, male, German shepherd mix. I have a very big heart and my goal in life is to please my person. Since I am still a puppy I have plenty of energy to keep up with an active couple or a growing family. I do well with other dogs, not sure about cats. (Since I can’t really talk the ladies at the shelter do not know if I have ever been around cats or not) I have been able to be up front at the shelter and so far I have done very well. I am not neutered and am current on my Distemper/Parvo vaccination and my Bordetella vaccine. I am not current on my rabies vaccination yet. I am currently at the McPherson Animal Shelter 620-245-2583.

Adopting a Friend

Our adoption fees are: $20.00 adoption fee includes microchipping, $45.00 spay/neuter deposit and $25.00 rabies vaccination deposit. If you adopt a dog that is under 6 months of age, we give you until the dog is 6 months old to get them spayed/neutered and a rabies vaccination. If you live in the city limits of McPherson, the city requires you to purchase a city tag at the time your pet receives his/hers rabies vaccination in order to receive your rabies vaccination deposit back.
