Police Department's New Radar
The McPherson Police Department has recently been awarded a federal grant in order to purchase Moving Radars for all of it's patrol cars. This is a measure the police department felt it needed to take to further ensure the safety of it's citizens. With the older stationary radar an officer had to be parked too enforce the posted speed limits. With moving radar the officer, while still patrolling the city streets can ensure the safety of other driver's by making sure all driver's are driving at a safe and reasonable speed.
