If I don't go to court do I still have to pay the court cost on the ticket?

Yes. Court cost cover the operational cost of the court system and help fund the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. You do not get charged court cost every time you show up to court, they are only charged with the violation.

If I am driving my vehicle and I strike another vehicle(whether moving or parked), or property should I call the police?

Yes. The police officer can help determine if an accident report is required or what further action should be taken.

Can I get a copy of a Police Report?

Contact the McPherson Police Department Records Clerk Monday through Friday 8 am to 3 pm and they will advise you if you are able to get a copy of a Police Report.

What are the operating hours of the Police Deaprtment?

Business Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. However Officers are always available to answer questions or offer assistance.

The Police Department is here to serve the public and offer assistance as needed if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us anytime. No concern of the public is to small.
