The McPherson Tree Board meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of that month at the Perkins Restaurant at 7:00 a.m. Discussions include Trees in McPherson, City of McPherson Tree Reimbursement Program, Arbor Day and other issues.
The City of McPherson has a Tree Reimbursement Program. Originally, a property owner could receive a reimbursement of 50% up to $50 per tree. In 2008, the tree reimbursement increased to 50% up to $100 per tree. The property owner may be reimbursed for two trees per property per year. This applies to property owners within the city limits.
